Pros and cons of EnvoyNow - Food Delivery on Campus app for iPhone and iPad

EnvoyNow - Food Delivery on Campus app good for

I see some haters on here who probably had an unusual experience but this app is honestly a must. I order once or twice each week and the only reason delivery times get long is b/c they can get an insane amount of orders sometimes. Love the app!!!
This app is great! I dont know of another app that has college students delivering to you anywhere on campus. Great service and great layout!!

Some bad moments

TLDR (too long, didnt read): Try a different delivery service. I highly reccomend doing this over EnvoyNow, and I presume my roomates feel the same way as I do. I rate this app one star. Why you may ask? Because in my personal opinion, EnvoyNow fails to even meet subpar standards. Im open minded and have tried serveral delivery services in the past to see which ones do their job effectively. It may be the case that in the future Envoy does improve their service, but at the date that I write this I am thoroughly unimpressed. Here is my anecdotal story.... Your experience may differ. But I suggest you look at the other reviews customers have submitted for this app to make your own conclusions. I personally did not ever order food from Envoy - my roomate did on his phone. The food we ordered together was delivered almost an hour later than the estimated delivery time (after we had tried to order a number of times to no avail because the envoys were busy). I get it - Envoy is a relatively new startup and because of this I especially understand that complications can arise. However, at the same time, if a company wants to compete with others in the same industry, they need to do better than their competitor in at least some areas. From my experience, EnvoyNow lacks the ability to meet expectations in all areas. I considered a summer job with Envoy. Im a relatively punctual person and expect that others should be able to hold up their end of an agreement. This to me is of the utmost importance in the field of business (and just about any human interaction. (After all, who wants to feel stood up)? I scheduled time out of my day for an onboarding session. I was told I would recieve an invite before the session to learn about the process of being a deliverer. I wasted my time waiting for instructions that never came, and didnt hear back until the next day as to why I never recieved them. I learned that it was an issue with the software on their end. Okay - I understand, but from what I experienced in terms of service both of the times I interacted with EnvoyNow.. The service was completely and utterly unreliable. Any food delivery service has one job - to serve as a third party between the customer and the restaraunt of their choosing that is offered. The extent to how the customer feels the interaction went is the companys responsibility. From what Ive read from others and from my own experiences, EnvoyNow is hit or miss. Customer Satisfaction should be the number one concern in any business model, and for Envoys sake..... I genuinely hope they improve their service so they can improve their reputation as a business.
Will not accept order during finals week, saying all envoys are busy.
Sitting in your room and having food delivered to you. What could be better??
Super convenient to have things delivered to my USC Dorm. Used it to have chipotle delivered on a busy night, and Andy rushed the food to me. Added cost for delivery is pretty low & definitely worth it.
Who has time to fetch their own food in this frantic world known as college. Its a 24/7 job that affords no room for a two hour stroll to Chipotle where the teasing anticipation of waiting in line leaves you more frustrated than satisfied. But you know what you can afford? You know what will satisfy? Envoy. In those twilight hours separating your classes and your pregame, you must fulfill a more important pregame: dinner. And trust me when I say those Envoys are working just as hard as youre about to party. Its your food and you need it now. Envoy.
This app is great. I literally just had someone deliver my chipotle burrito to me in 30 mins without having to leave my seat in the library.
